Last Saturday was Lane's birthday, and it was a BIG ONE: 40! It seems like my friend Charla was just helping me decorate for his 30th birthday celebration. (And we were probably thinking that 30 sounded old...well, it's sounding better and better! ha!) It has definitely been a decade of change for Lane: back to school, a new career and the birth of three children! Many many blessings, for sure.
He didn't want a big party. Instead he wanted to go out to dinner with his parents and his brother's family. We were so happy that they came over on Thursday evening to celebrate. Bob & Rose Mary came over when school was out so they had time to play with the kids, then we met Lance, Jennifer and Katie at Bravo for a delicious dinner. It was a really nice evening.
We love you and we are proud of you, Lane!
