Sweetheart Ball

Last night was the school's annual Sweetheart Ball.  It had been rescheduled due to snow in early February, but luckily Lane wasn't scheduled to work on the new date so they were still able to attend!  The kids and I stayed after school yesterday to help with decorations then we rushed home to have dinner, get Alexee dressed and pick up the babysitter so I could go serve drinks and desserts.

Alexee loves her friends!  She really has a such a sweet little group to hang out with.  She was watching the door, ready for them to arrive.

Lane said they did dance a few times, but I think the majority of the evening looked like this--dads visiting and girls running around together.

When Kylie and her Dad were saying good-bye the girls ran to give each other a hug.  So glad they're friends.  :)
