Yesterday evening Micaela, Jaiden and Jeryn met us at the pool--the kids were so excited! My friend Ali and her two kids came too. We all had a good time!
Crosby has really started liking the splash playground. I think he was kind of afraid of it at the beginning of the summer, but not now!
Jaiden was cute helping Alexee in the water. She pretended to be her swim instructor--she was holding her up and telling her to kick. Alexee has gotten SO much more comfortable in the water lately. When we went to Orlando back in April she would barely let go of us while we held her in the pool. Now she (wearing a life-jacket) jumps off the side forward, backward, doesn't mind getting her face wet, floats on her back, etc. Her biggest fear now is seeing a wasp/bug in the water!
Later we decided to go eat dinner together at Cheeburger Cheeburger. Crosby had a hard time sitting in his seat, but other than that, the kids were all really good. Rhett and Jaiden played with Jaiden's new cash box all through dinner, and Alexee & Jeryn colored and played tic-tac-toe.
