Summer Break, Week 1

It was a good first week of summer break.  Crosby had a friend over to play one afternoon.  Everyone played in the sprinkler for a long time and then C and his friend played dress-up from the super hero costume bin.  Simple summer fun!

It was a beautiful day Saturday, but sadly Lane had to work.  I decided to take the kids to Flippin for the day.  We packed sandwiches at Mom & Dad's house then stopped at the dollar store for chips, drinks and cookies for an easy picnic by the river.  The kids always love to splash around in the water in front of the cabin.  Definitely one of my very favorite places to spend a day.

Rhett just looks way too grown up to me here.  :(
