Family Time

Saturday was the family lunch/party at the river.  It's always great (and a little chaotic!) to get together, and we wanted to celebrate my grandparents' 80th birthdays which are both this summer.

The boys playing ball--they didn't mind the heat.
My grandparents--very very thankful for them!  I hope they know how much we love them!
Happy Birthday!
We had BBQ, potato salad, cole slaw, corn...cake, fried pies and homemade ice cream.  Yum.
I think I counted 19 great-grandchildren present, plus 1 friend.
They had a blast on the Slip-&-Slide, especially after Keith decided it wasn't fast enough so he brought out a bottle of dish soap--Ha!  No wonder the kids all love Keith!
Rhett & Crosby (Alexee didn't want to do this for some reason.)
Granddad & Grandmother with 10 of their 11 grandkids
Ethan, Bryan, Kevin, Kyle, Keith, Kallie, Lindsay, me, Torie & Micaela
(wish Zach could have been there too)
19 of the Great-Grandchildren!
A fun day!  We're blessed to have such a big, close family.

My Papaw's eyes are just as blue and pretty as your Granddad's eyes! Looks like such a fun day.
