Our friends Steven and Lianne hosted a Mardi Gras party last Saturday night. Lianne served several delicious appetizers, wonderful gumbo and king cake for dessert. I don't think I'd ever eaten king cake until this weekend. I see them for sale every year and think about buying one, but I never have. She had a pretty wreath on her front door and had the tables decorated with masks and beads and had extra beads for everyone to wear. It was a fun night!

How fun!!! :) I didn't know you AR girls knew how to celebrate Mardi Gras-ha! :) We ate two king cakes in one weekend--they are SOOOO good!!! :)
