Sixth Birthday

We all had a great time celebrating Alexee's 6th birthday!  Lane and I got to have lunch with her at school on Friday (We brought in Chick-fil-A, per her request).
Saturday morning she thought chocolate chip pancakes would be a great way to start off a birthday.  Then she opened her gifts from us and also the purple Bible that Mo and Granddad sent her.  Crosby and Rhett gave her a purple swimsuit and two Biscuit books.  (Oh, purple is her new favorite color.)  :)  Later that morning I took her to Sam's with me to pick up cupcakes, etc., for the party that afternoon.  We made a quick stop at the church for a few 6 year old pictures.  It was chilly, so we hurried!  We came back home to eat lunch and get the boys, then we were off to the indoor swim party with her friends!
Alexee, you are a joy!  You're such a sweet girl and you are so funny too--you keep us entertained!  I don't know how it's possible that you are six years old.  You are doing great in Kindergarten, making new friends and enjoying being a guinea pig owner.  You love puzzles, painting, princesses, kittens and coloring.  You're sensitive and helpful and loving and kind. (But you also have two brothers, so you can be tough when necessary!)  WE LOVE YOU AND ARE THANKFUL FOR YOU EVERY DAY!
I think everyone had a good time swimming at the Aquatics Center!
After and hour and a half of swimming, everyone moved to the party room for cupcakes/snacks.
I love all of the sweet expressions in these pictures with the "6" candle.
We were glad to have Grammy & Bobba at the party with us.
We came back home to open gifts from friends and from Grammy & Bobba.  She loved all her fun new things!  Her only problem was knowing what to play with first!  That evening we went to Outback for a great dinner with L's parents.
The waiter surprised her with a huge birthday sundae which her brothers were happy to help with.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SWEET GIRL!
We hope you had a wonderful day.
