Grandparents Visiting: Jonah & Butterflies

(November 27-30)
We were happy to have Grammy & Bobba in town Thanksgiving weekend!  Lane had to work Friday night, but he was off Saturday and Sunday.  Saturday we went out for lunch at Panera then went to see the production of Jonah at Sight and Sound Theater.  This was our second trip, and we enjoyed it just as much this time.  The sets are so amazing.  The theater was decorated for Christmas, and performers sang carols in the lobby before the show--very fun!
Sunday morning we went to church, brunch at Cracker Barrel and then visited the holiday display at The Butterfly Palace.  I think it is such a neat place.  The poinsettia tree, seasonal white butterflies and the living angel "statue" were all so pretty.  (The rainforest adventure area is fun, too.)
Crosby was so surprised when one of the white butterflies landed right on his head!  I loved his sweet expressions!

And this angel statue is actually a real person!  She never opened her eyes, but she gracefully moved her arms to the Christmas music.
A fun day with Grammy & Bobba!  We ordered pizza that night and had a relaxing evening at home.
Monday morning we went to the monthly leadership assembly at the school because Crosby was getting recognized for his job in Student Council.  :)  We're proud of you, C!
