Pumpkin Carving

Yesterday afternoon Lane and the kids carved the pumpkins we picked at the patch on Monday. Rhett and Alexee drew pictures of what they wanted their Jack-o-lanterns to look like for Lane to go by. Lex wanted a happy one and Rhett wanted a scary one, of course. I was in charge of taking pictures and keeping Crosby away from the knives.
While Lane carved A's pumpkin, Rhett worked at getting all the "goo" out of his.
I think Alexee was proud of hers!
Crosby had fun playing with the lid.
And Rhett liked his too. It looked just like his drawing, only with a few less teeth.
We tried to include C in the group picture, but he wasn't interested.
After it started getting dark, we moved them to the front steps to light them. The kids were excited to see how they looked.
