Yesterday, the last day of the long 4th of July weekend, we went to Hot Springs for a day with Lane's family. I didn't get very many pictures because my camera battery was dead and when I put the spare battery in, it wasn't fully charged either. :(

We had a fun time though. The kids wanted to swim as soon as we got to the condo. But first I made them pose for a photo!

They quickly changed into their swim suits and went to the water. They had a wonderful time jumping off the dock and splashing Lane.
After swimming, they took showers and we went to the new Purple Cow restaurant for lunch. Bobba & (cousin) Katie went with us while Grammy stayed behind with Crosby while he took a good nap. He slept for two hours and woke up in a happy mood, ready to play. After lunch, we went to Mid-America museum. We have a season pass there, and Rhett wants to go every time we're in Hot Springs. They have a dinosaur exhibit right now, so we saw that for the first time.

Outside there was a dinosaur dig. Here are the kids uncovering the skeleton. Plus it had a shady area with park benches for adults that were tired of walking and looking at things! :)
