It was great to see Lane's parents yesterday! They came up to spend the afternoon/evening with us, and the kids loved having them here. And they even brought us goodies from a trip they went on recently.
Here's Bob helping Alexee open her new Belle doll & horse (which she loved!) and Rhett painting his new model boat. He also got a helicopter and has really enjoyed assembling and painting both.

We got a laugh out of this...as soon as Crosby woke up from his nap and saw Bob, he ran to the drawer and got the ice cream scoop. He knows he's sure to get ice cream when his Bobba is around! :)

Afternoon snack: chocolate chip pumpkin bread and coffee
Crosby loved his gift, too--this "aquarium" lamp. (No water required.) He's pointing out the lion fish, which has a fierce look about it. Every time it swims by he says, "Oh, sharp!".
The kids wanted to go outside and ride bikes/trikes/wagons. Alexee and Rose Mary sat on the steps for a while and talked. It was a pretty day, but very windy.
Bob & the boys

C likes to be pushed on R's bike, but it's a work-out!

We got them to sit still just long enough for a quick group picture.
We were glad that Lane was able to come home earlier than usual so we could all go to dinner together (kids' choice: Razorback Pizza). It was a good day--thanks, Bob & Rose Mary!
