After a chilly, rainy week our spring weather reappeared yesterday! So glad! After school, Rhett played with his friends, and Alexee and Crosby played ball in the front yard. I'd say "good hit!" and before long C started saying it too.

They also had fun with the sidewalk chalk.
Alexee's really interested in learning to write now. She wants met to write things on her notebook, then she copies them. She wrote Lane's name the other night with no help at all.

This morning Rhett had his first Upward Soccer game. They won! He said he had fun. We're encouraging him to be a little more aggressive when it comes to trying to kick the ball, but hopefully it will be a fun season!

Alexee searched the field for flowers during the game.
It was really hard to keep Crosby off the game field. I brought a ball from home for him to play with, which turned out to be a mistake because he wanted to go play with all the big kids.
This afternoon we went to a friend's b-day party at the park. What a great day for an outdoor party! This is one of my favorite parks--it's never crowded, and it's surrounded by trees.
Olivia, Alexee and Maylee (Birthday girl on the right). It was a pink poodle party--her shirt was so cute!

Happy Birthday, M!

Jamie,
Sounds like you all had a good Saturday. I had a good Saturday too That's great. It has been so nice here in Arkansas it seems. I am enjoying the nice days were having right now. Hope it doesn't change any time soon. That's great Alexee wants to learn to write things like her name and other names. That is cool. When my children were young we put their names in stickers on their bedroom door, so they could look at them and learn how their names were spelled and also, it helped them spell their names as they got a bit older. My children liked the outdoor chalk and still do to this day. Now, they like to write on inside chalkboards and dry erase boards. I hope you all have a good week.
God bless you all.
Woodena
