A friend invited us to join them at a local gymnastics center this morning for a group play appointment. You can arrange for a small group to go there for an hour and have an employee help the kids and guide them through the various activities for $5 per child. We'd been to a birthday party here before, but didn't know this open play was an option--it was great! The kids both had a blast--in fact, they both cried and threw fits when our hour was up and we had to leave. You should have seen big pregnant me trying to drag them both out of the building.

There was a really high bar and platform where the assistant helped the kids swing and drop into the foam pit. Rhett did it several times.
And, naturally, Alexee saw Rhett do it so she was game for trying it. She thought it was super fun and kept trying to cut in line to rush her turns. It was a big drop!

I wish we would've had something like that when I was a kid!! That Alexee is one tough girl. She's a hoot!
