Garret's Birthday Party

Rhett & I went to his friend Garret's 5th birthday party this afternoon. October seems to be a popular birthday month around here! Garret had a costume party at the park, and it was a sunny, perfect day for it. There were riding toys and a pinata and delicious cake of course--a fun time was had by all!

Isn't this cake cute!? All the kids wanted a fondant spider!Superman borrowed someone's 4-wheeler for a ride. We've got to get this child a motorized toy...he was driving in reverse part of the time and he told me that he almost ran into a parked car!
Birthday Boy, Garret, blowing out all FIVE candles:
Kids in costume having cake and juice boxes:
Garret's Dad helped form the line to begin the pinata-breaking:
Superman gave several good swings:

Happy 5th Birthday, Garret! So glad to have you as a friend!

Looks like a blast! Rhett looks so grown up on that 4-wheeler picture...makes me think of those pictures of dad riding by on a wheelie with that scary mask on when we lived at the other house!

What a fun party. The kids (Casey and Logan, anyway) made me a birthday cake last week, it was.....interesting. Kind of reminded me of Halloween! LOL Of course it was chocolate with PINK icing (Casey's choice) and lots and lots of sprinkles (Logan's job).

Cute cake and cute kids. The weather has been perfect for that outdoor party. What fun!

Tell Micaela I'm having withdrawals now that she has gone private and I'd love to keep reading if she sends me an invite. :)
